It's important to note his characterization will change and not seem true to his Fate Canon ( at least in some prospects ). For instance he has very bad anger & temperament issues that are the reason for a lot of his story within the Vulgate cycle. He is also very competitive - more than usual and often a bit more bold to speak his mind. Gawain will act on his emotions more, and if he feels in the moment that something bothers him. Gawain won’t hesitate to do what he wants or say it either. As a fate servant, this is the reason for his blind loyalty. An important sweltering truth that causes his characterization to be something with a track record of harsh opinions. By Gilgamesh himself, and even Arturia who begs him with love in their heart. For him to let go of the past, and listen to one last order: Be yourself.
⠀ ⠀⠀Historically, Gawain is known for his murderous tendencies. A joke amongst Arthurian readers, he often kills with ill intent or accidental regard. The list is unfortunately rather long. Regardless of which, it’s gotten him into trouble many times. In some stories its him alone who kills his own mother, and the Knights of the Round who shame him for his actions. Yet still do nothing for it. His actions are often the reason for most shenanigans that follow after him in his legends. As it is one of the reasons outside of his woman fucking, to be why he is denied the Grail Quest. Instead for his own commitment and redemption, he is tasked with the feat of … Basically making up for his bad behaviors by walking around and attending to people.
⠀ ⠀⠀The other notable thing is that he was sentenced by Guinevere after killing a woman - accidentally. To forever thusly be in servitude of all women. It would seem he took this to literal extents, as he is found throughout most of his stories, to service them sexually. With flattery. Love, and many other methods. It extends as he is respectfully commended well for his love of them, and responsibility for their individual happiness. When it comes to women loving, Gawain drinks his women loving respect juice. Unless you piss him off, then he may contend with calling you a harlot ( See Nero pissing him off). The case is so especially in history, which is amiable considering the era it was written in, and that the Vulgate’s cycle is full of gross misogynistic methods of storytelling.
⠀ ⠀⠀King Lot fought for the right to the throne, and has ties to it’s seat. He was one of the contenders for wanting heir to the throne and desired to have his blood upon it. Gawain, is one of those sons who quite literally held and holds Pendragon blood. Fate does well to highlight this secretly, as the ascension materials to have him grow are generally dropped by dragons. Although a small interjection, very enjoyable none-the-less.
Despite having the rights to the throne, Gawain loves Arthur/Arturia and would not think for a moment to sit upon it as King. Perhaps in truth this is the main reason for garnering the hatred of his mother, who feels betrayal for his oath to the King.
⠀ ⠀⠀Gawain’s mother despite being someone else log'd in historical history, Will remain Morgan Le Fay if ever he is roleplayed more for his historical canon. It is the case in fate, and since this character is still a Fate character. I will respect the decision and thusly keep it that way!

⠀ ⠀⠀Gawain is blatantly bisexual, and even I don’t ignore that. Except he has a preference for women, and when it comes to men he will not realize you are hitting on him until you make that known. Basically, Gawain will not flirt with men in the way you may think him interested. He will build you up, commend you for your feats, and wildly hail you for your valor thusly. When it comes to turning anything into intimacy, it will take the male characters action to show him he can think of the other that way. It will make him go oh yeah I like men, and then like a light switch flicked on. He will presently treat the male character affectionately the same he treats women he is interested in.
⠀ ⠀⠀I do like Gawain & Lancelot together, and feel the two have a lot of stuff to work on but considering how advocating Gawain was of Lancelot. Lancelot has been, canonly. The only person and being in this universe to effectively, break his heart. In the historic story, this idiot cried for days after finding out he was in a secret relationship with Guinevere - but even still supported their relationship in the end. Then literally almost killed someone for talking poor about Lancelot when he would not believe that he killed his siblings. Gawain has some deep feelings for him.
